Danish artist Maximillian gives us a glimpse of his bad decisions dating back adolescence in new single “Beautiful Scars.” It’s an emotional narrative the captures the loneliness and chaotic realism of his own tumultuous past that provided a sense of familiarity to all of us who have had our own share of self-saboteur phase. His vocals snowball with intensity as he embraces his past (and present) flaws that make up the artist he is today – stream below:
“I made a lot of bad decisions, hung out with the wrong people and did a lot of things I regret. I literally lived a life on the edgeat the age of 13 and “Beautiful Scars” is me facing my life growing up. It’s about how I used to behave and treat people around me. How we all have inner demons that sometimes burst out in the world with no warning,” Maximillian explained. “I believe it’s important to embrace your demons. No one’s perfect –so embrace that –and live your life as good as you possibly can!”
The track is the first official single from Maximillian who will be releasing more singles this year, Stay tuned.
