Plague Vendor’s Video “New Comedown” Is Rock’N’Roll 101

Rock quartet Plague Vendor gives us a contagious dose of gritty zeal in their new video “New Comedown” where we see the four channel their performance aura in a chromatic explosion. Built on an invigorating aggression and swagger, “New Comedown” is filled with explosive momentums that feel therapeutic. If you been restraining some anger or simply need to snap out of your auto-pilot state, this is it:

“When we were writing ‘New Comedown,’ there were a lot of colors and themes that were coming through, so we thought it best to finalize the verses once we were in the recording studio,” shared frontman Brandon Blaine. “The energy, urgency, and excitement there was unmatched. We caught lightning in the booth and trapped it in the recording.”

“New Comedown” is from Plague Vendor’s upcoming album Free to Eat, which was produced by John Congleton (Sharon Van Etten, St Vincent) and will be out on June 7 via Epitaph Records. The quartet just kicked off their North America tour, so go see them:
