Japanese-German hyperpop act OSCA channels the vivid and chromatic energy of Tokyo in their new video “Youth” where we see montages of the band hitting the skyscraper rooftops, public bathing houses, giant toys, and the streets with a childlike wonder. The city’s nightlife and breakneck pace befits the song’s theme where they chant about the golden years when the world is your oyster. Watch below:

OSCA are Yuka Otsuki, Matthias Erhard, Chris Farr, Dominik Scherer, and Shota Higashikawa who started songsmithing together back in 2010. Since then they’ve been making waves across the German pop scene with their self-labeled ‘hyperpop’ sound. The quintet is currently working on new music, so be on the lookout for more drops from the band this year.
