UK quartet The Amazons captures the dangers of lust that can come in the way when things start looking like they’re getting better in new single “Doubt It.” It’s a pure explosion of clashing guitars, smacking drums, and incessant outpour of adrenalin that really delivers you the hit of rock’n’roll. Yes, this song feels like getting punched but in a good way – the quartet really channel their creative aggression into a refreshing rush that detoxes any bullshit out of your system. Fuck juice cleanse, “Doubt It” is the new self-care magic we need:
“‘Doubt It’ is about being on the edge of making a potentially stupid decision due to lust-induced blindness. It addresses the lingering doubts, the residue of morals and succumbing to the temptations.” shared lead singer Mathew Thomson.
The track is from their upcoming album Future Dust, out on May 24thvia Island Records. The quartet will be hitting festivals this spring/summer, so go see them:
