Parcels’ “Tape” Is Your Guide For Being An A+ Concert Crowd

Still from Parcels – Tape (Official Music Video) YouTube

Berlin/Byron Bay quintet Parcels shows off their A+ concert crowd in new video “Tape” where we see every onstage musician’s dreams come true – an energetic and very polite group of people who are immersed in the music 100%. The story also reveals Penelope, an enigmatic character who has been present throughout their album campaign. Directed by Carmen Crommelin, “Tape” is your guide to being an amazing concertgoer who spreads love and doesn’t block other human beings with your touchscreen filming the whole entire show in 144p:

“We wanted a video that tapped into the energy we feel at a live concert. It’s another world than the record, it’s a whole different feeling and we wanted to give a taste of that.” shared the band, “That’s why we filmed the live scene in a one-take live scenario, from our on-stage perspective, with real fans at the show! We came on stage as an encore that night and we explained to the crowd that we wanted to capture something different with cameras. It was nerve wracking and we totally threw the crowd into the deep end. But it was a good surprise, everyone reacted with a smile, it was a real buzz. Thanks a million to everyone who was at that concert!”
