Devon-based trio Tors gives us a rundown of all the tension, what-ifs, and heartache that comes with relationships that went south in their new pop single “Something I Said.” Built on layers of ethereal harmonies and swooning croons, “Something I Said” sounds like a conversation we’ve all had with an ex. But within the layers of heavy-heartened lyrics, there is a very satisfactory giant fuck-you vibe that is dedicated to your ex – stream below:

“’Something I Said’” is a combination of experiences we’ve had in relationships that went wrong and you just don’t know why. That awful one-sided conversation when they ask to stay friends and you couldn’t imagine anything worse. How can you be friends with someone you saw your life being with? It’s a breakup song, a question and a ‘fuck you’ all in one really.”

Comprised of siblings Matt and Theo Weedon and their brother-from-another-mother Jack, Tors has been making waves across radio since debuting their EP Wilder Days. The band is currently supporting Walking On Cars, so go see them:
