Jordan Rakei Arms Us With Perseverance For The Apocalypse In “Rolling Into One”

Always be prepared

London-based, Aussie artist Jordan Rakei equips our mind with perseverance amidst the apocalypse in his new single “Rolling Into One.” Sung through soulful, galactic production that examines the dwindling hope in a dystopian world, “Rolling Into One” is Jordan’s way of holding onto the last string of optimism and stretching it out for the sake of survival. It has a dark, artificial-pop feel to it where Jordan’s vocals echo the last bits of humanity in a technology-saturated future:

“This song is about embracing the mentality of acceptance and perseverance. Things will continue to happen and we can only look at the bright side to remain sane through the rise of technology and artificially intelligent systems. I wanted the song to be sonically vibrant and colourful but maintain its darker lyrical theme of a dystopian future” shared Jordan.

“Rolling Into One” is Jordan’s upcoming album Origin, which will be out on June 14. Jordan’s currently on tour:
