Rising Swedish artist Boy In Space gives us the portrait of youth at the peak of its emotional bliss and heartache in new video “7UP.” Shot in his hometown of Alingsås, Sweden, the video features his own friends, brother and long-term girlfriend where he gives us an intimate glimpse of adolescent romance. There is an innocent charm to it that feel almost surreal as Boy In Space gauges the weight of emotions that comes with being young and experiencing the complexities of human bond for the first time. Watch below:
“My mind is a rollercoaster” admits Boy In Space. “Sometimes I wish I could be normal. Most of the time I’m grateful I’m not. Although my songs can be sad, I’m actually pretty happy (most of the time).”
