UK artist Annabel Allum reawakens our childhood enthusiasm and ambition with her latest single “When The Wind Stopped.” In short, the track is a fuckyou to societal restrictions that we get forced into as we grow older and start giving up whatever we wanted as children. “When The Wind Stopped” is built on breezy strings where Annabel’s own self-empowering reflection is felt in her echoing notes. Stream below:

Speaking on the influence behind her new track, Annabel shared, “When I was a kid I had such big expectations of how life was gonna be. I think most people do. But somehow we lose track of our dreams and what we really want from life. It’s so easy to shut yourself in a societal box and put your dreams to bed. I say fuck that. If you want something, go fucking get it. Less moaning, more chasing.”
