New West Captures The Initial Cycle Of Intimacy In “Those Eyes” (Chapter I)

Following the release of their debut EP Call Me When You Hear This Song, Toronto act New West has announced today that they will be releasing a five-chapter short film named after the EP. The film directed by Sean Brown, follows the romantic story of a couple whom we get see them fall in love and experience heartbreak. The first chapter, “Those Eyes,” introduces us to the protagonists who are at the beginning stage of their affair:

In regards to the film, Director Sean Brown shared, “A lot of people can relate to falling in and out of love. This film is about the cycle of love, from its beginnings to its endings, and those involved, losing and finding themselves in between. I’m such a fan of this band and it was an honour to help tell this story.”

Comprised of Kala Wita, Vella, Ben Key and Noel West, New West formed back in 2017 and were originally called The .Wav until they decided to change their name in 2018. Call Me When You Hear This Songis out now via 199x Recordings and can be streamed below:
