GRiZ’s EP ‘Bangers[1].Zip’ Is Made Of Black Magic, Funk, & Sugary Bangers

All the good things

Detroit artist GRiZ showcases his black magic and genre-smudging skills in his new EP Bangers[1].Zip– a three-track multifaceted record that spins your head in all directions. Its opener “Voodoo” ft. SUPERLOVE is a dub-indebted reggae piece that taps into black magic and feels like what shamans would be blasting while partying in the spirit world. The following, “No Bad Trips,” is sparkled with funk and horn interludes that are embedded within the sub-bass rhythmic skeleton. The exiting track “Ice Cream,” drips with keyboards and breakbeats that yield a chaotic harmony as GRiZ evokes out universal love for that frozen sugary treat. Enjoy:
