Uncertainty is part of the human condition – and it really sucks. People use words like ‘transition’ as euphemism to describe a phase in your life when you’re feeling lost and can’t seem to overcome this stagnancy. LA-based duo Junaco nails that quiet, self-torturing melancholia in their new single “In Between.” Produced by Omar Yakar (War on Drugs, Perfume Genius), it’s a fuzzy indie anthem that nails the familiar feeling of foreignness we feel when we’re going through changes and our existential GPS is taking time to load…like a lot of time:

Comprised of Shahana Jaffer and Joey LaRosa, Junaco formed for their love of music and are known for their mellow sound. The duo is currently getting ready to release their upcoming EP, which was produced and engineered by Omar Yakar. “The underlying theme is about coming to terms with experiences and hardships we have faced and finally putting them out there. It’s very healing” shared Jaffar in regards to the EP. More details to come.
