Ponytails’ “Too Long” Is A Smooth Portrait Of Running Into Your Ex

And it’s always awkward

Vancouver-based quintet Ponytails offers us a breezy picture of encountering your ex after a long time in their new single “Too Long.” With its introspective lyrics and moody assortment of percussions, “Too Long” is filled with nostalgia and the ambivalent feeling of running to someone familiar who is now a stranger. Ex encounters are never easy:

Ponytails is Harvey Merritt (vocals), Travis Goeres (guitar), Jasper Sloan Yip (guitar, keys), Liam Less (bass) and Graham Serl (drums) who broke into the scene with their self-titled debut EP back in 2016. They’re currently working on their full length.
