Vivian Girls Break Their 8-Year Hiatus With New Sizzling Single “Sick”

You probably heard of Vivan Girls as the outliers and mavericks of indie bands – they played in warehouses, house parties, and any underground venue you could think of. And while the band had a successful run in 2009-11ish, they parted ways after their third record Share the Joy. Long story short, the members went on with the business of ‘adulting’ making art, babies, and more music. That kinda went on until 2018 when the gang reunited and decided to songsmith their fourth album Memory – their first new album in eight years. Today, the gals have shared “Sick” – a hazy, sizzling goodness of gossamer percussion that feels like a welcome back hug to our ears:
