On the influence of the song, Maggie shared “I wrote this song when I was at a writing camp in Thailand. It was my first time in Asia, and I was so inspired by the new surroundings, the culture, and the beauty of our surroundings that this song kind of just happened! For me, being in new places makes it really easy to write new songs.”

Originally from Canada, Maggie now lives in LA and is one of the most sought-after songwriters/singers for producers in the scene.
