Austrian trio Hunger’s latest video “Light It Up” is a compilation of Kodak-worthy moments – which isn’t surprising considering that it was directed by Raffael Hollitzky (he worked for brands such as H&M, MAC Cosmetics, Zipfer, etc.). But in here, the video is sponsoring one message only: live your best life. Capturing the stunning urban and natural landscapes, “Light It Up” feature different characters who are on their own carpe diem mission. Watch below:

“’Light It Up’ is about adventures, moments and memories we’ve experienced and still want to experience in our lives. It’s an anthem for going out and to live and experience life and its freedoms. We wrote and recorded the song in a little hut in the Austrian alps. The ‘gospel choir’ halfway through the song was recorded in a tiny kitchen and is basically just the three of us and our producer singing in hundreds of tracks,” shared the trio.

Comprised of childhood friends Daniel Rumpel, Johannes Herbst and Lucas Fendrich, Hunger formed in early 2015 following the disintegration of their previous bands. At first, the band didn’t want to play live, but as they started recording in the studio, they quickly realized how much they missed playing with an audience. The band is mostly known for their track “Amused,” which was featured on several commercials, Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, and has accumulated more than 3 million Spotify streams to date. They’re currently working on new music and will be playing a festival next month:

8 /16 – Hafen Open Air (Vienna, Austria)
