Often times the adage ‘never give up’ does not apply – especially in doomed relationships. Synthpop quartet All The Rest offers us the ultimate quit anthem for breakups titled “Way Out” where they embrace leaving someone who is clearly not going to work things out with you. For a breakup anthem, “Way Out” feels like a party one where the quartet uses the sharp precision of summer pop and add their own buzz to it. Stream below:

“‘Way Out’ is really a breakup song at its core. It’s about the process of realizing the person you’re with isn’t who you thought they were. Sometimes it’s just easier to call it quits than to forcing it to work. Of course, the feeling isn’t always mutual,” explained singer Baylee.

Comprised of dual frontmen Caleb Smith (guitar) and Baylee Waller (guitar), Tre Housman (bass) and Jud Harris (drums), All The Rest formed in Senoia, GA (most notable for being the filming site of The Walking Dead). Having amassed more than one million Spotify streams and scored five consecutive #1s on Hype Machine, All The Rest continues to songsmith music that captures the post-Millennial highs and lows. The quartet has shows coming up in the next few weeks, so go see them:

8/23 – The Masquerade (Atlanta, GA, USA)

9/3 – Rockwood Music Hall (New York, NY, USA)
