Hunger’s “My Shirt Your Dress” Is For The Romance That Didn’t Make It To Reality

We’ve all experienced a significant what-if moment when we imagined our lives with someone whom we never got to be full committed. Scientists call this as counterfactual thinking, which is reimagining certain moments or situations against reality. Austrian trio Hunger encapsulates us into that emotional wanderlust in new single “My Shirt Your Dress,” a chest-throbbing single where the expansive synths and spacious choruses trigger memories that build into our imagination. “The song is about the big ‘what-if’ love of your life,” the band explained. “We all have it. We all know it. You might have this one person you never asked on a date although you felt a very strong connection with, or might have met the better half of your life, but for some reason it just didn’t work out. Sometimes love just never really gets the chance.”
