Hailing from Hamilton, Family of Things walk us through the different ways certain people can destroy our sense of self in new single “Harm.” The video follows a couple who symbolize the harm that they cause each other, but also the notion that they’re the source of their own pain. Through its thrumming drums and dreamy keyboards, “Harm” fluidly morphs between quiet meditation to full-blooded tension. The duo beckons its listeners into an emotional state that is both stormy and silent where they shuffle through the emotional complexities that comes when we need to accept the toxicity of certain people close to us. Enjoy:

Family of Things are Bradley Barnham and Aaron Brown who broke into the scene with their self-released debut EP back in fall 2016 with the help of friend/producer Peter Mol. Since then, they’ve been quickly making buzz across the media. “Harm” is from their upcoming full length, which they’ve been working with Peter in a family cottage up in the North.
