Hana Vu Reflects On Values & Success In “Actress”

A realistic glimpse behind success

LA-based artist Hana Vu navigates into the thorny labyrinth of sacrificing personal values for the sake of success in new single “Actress.” With upbeat tones of ruminative melancholia and horn-coated layers of synthesizers, “Actress” is a velvety soundscape that beckons us into seeing the reality behind our idols. The video is a trippy journey where Hanna’s dreamy vocals are paired with the chromatic visuals by Brain Wash TV:

“Based on the music and conversations in The Actress Roundables, ‘Actress’ is about the compromise of personal values in order to be conventionally successful, and how that may manifest over time,” shared Hana.

“Actress” is from Hana’s upcoming double EP Nicole Kidman / Anne Hathaway, which will be out on October 25th via Luminelle. The gal will be hitting the road soon, so don’t miss her:
