Delacey Is A Human Chameleon In New Grungy Pop Single “Actress”

Guitar-powered anthem

Over a subtly coarse texture and gritty guitar strikes, Delacey croons with an alluring charm about her ability to play any role in her new single “Actress.” Her cooing voice and quaggy riffs create a soufflé of retro pop drizzled with grunge that sound like the soundtrack of a classical box office hit. “I can play any role that I want, like the person that you fell in love with, tell me you think I’m the one, and I play along if it’s fun” she chants. Enjoy:

Hailing from Orange Country, Delacey started writing songs and learning the piano at the age of seven and grew up listening to artists such as Stevie Nicks and Billie Holiday. Her previous singles have topped the charts across the radio and Billboard in the US. She has also co-written songs for Halsey (“Without Me”), Demi Lovato, Zara Larsson, The Chainsmokers, and you get the idea. She’ll be playing in various cities in the upcoming weeks, so go say hola:

9/14 – Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (Las Vegas, NV, USA)

10/6 – Austin City Limits (Austin, TX, USA)
