The truth is out there now

Toronto-based quartet Kiwi Jr. takes us into the dawn of civilization where we’re left with radioactive dogs in “Salary Man.” The video follows the life of Clad who is serving her typical 9-6 indentured servitude in some sales department at a corporation. The irony is that she looks quite dead in her job and happy hours, but finally ends up looking a little more alive when civilization clashes and she’s free to look for whatever seems appealing to her:

On the video, the quartet shared: “After the fall of civilized society, all that’s left is a future rife with radioactive dogs and the remains of parties that never really took off. Clad in suit and tie and unable to part with their old routine, our hero wanders aimlessly through debris and clean up crews, searching for the remnants of something compelling and desirable.”

Having spent the past five years polishing their sound, Kiwi Jr. has been making steady waves in the indie scene and have opened for acts such as Wolf Parade, New Pornographers, and Alvvays. “Salary Man” is from their upcoming record Football Money, which will be out on January 17, 2020.
