Detalji’s “Forever” Is Meditation On EDM Steroids

Helsinki-based artist Detalji (aka Krista Myllyviita) takes us into a dark, expansive soundscape of ambience in her new single “Forever,” a contemplative piece of techno synthphony where the haunting vocals tap into desire and longing. The track feels like a fist-pumping meditation where Detalji details the cruel nature of love. Stream below:

“I wrote this song when I was missing my girlfriend when she was on a work trip. It’s about how loving someone is cruel and wonderful at the same time,” shared Detalji.

Krista started making her own music after attending her first rave with her sister when she was 18 and launched her experimental project Detalji in 2016. Since then, she has become one of the most buzzed acts in the Finnish scene and built a wide international fanbase. The gal is set to play at Iceland Airwaves next month along with a show in London.
