There’s no doubt that kpop is gaining a major momentum globally with talented boybands showcasing breakneck choreography and heart-racing choruses. But outside of the kpop realm, there are just as talented artists who know how to give your groovegasm. Korean quintet DAY6 is a hidden gem within the JYP Entertainment label that knows how to songsculpt rock music with the twerky hooks of pop. Their latest video “Sweet Chaos” doesn’t feature any choreography, but showcase each member’s dexterity over their instruments. The track itself has subtle tints of classic rock to it, but arranged in a rave-up pop framework. Watch below:

“Sweet Chaos” is from quintet’s latest record The Book of Us: Entropy, which is out now:

Comprised of members Sung Jin (leader, main vocalist, guitarist), Jae (lead guitarist, lead vocalist), Young K (bassist, lead vocalist, rapper), Won Pil (synthesizer, keyboardist, lead vocalist) and Do Woon (drummer), DAY6 formed back in 2015. They released their debut EP The Day in September 2015 and has been garnering buzz across the globe ever since. The quintet recently wrapped up their North America tour and are currently on the road in Asia.
