Dance with your hands and hips

Bristol sibling duo Bad Sounds gives us the perfect anthem to handclap while shaking our booties titled “Sympathetic Vibrations,” a dexterously constructed blend of pop, hip-hop, and R&B that sets you on a playful mode. In other words, this is melodic kombucha for your vibrations:

“Obviously good and bad feelings can be kind of contagious, and I guess the theme is how people can affect each other in that way. For us it’s about not wanting to pull someone into a negative space when they’re trying to pull you out of one, and vice versa. In a way it’s kind of our take on ‘don’t kill my vibe’ but also us saying ‘I don’t wanna kill yours either’. It might mean you’re a sociopath if you don’t relate to it. So there’s some incentive to like it,” shared the duo.

Comprised of Callum and Ewan Merrett, the duo grew up listening to Gorillaz, Beck, Smashing Pumpkins, Madonna, A Tribe Called Quest, and many others. Their sound has been making waves across the media and garnering a wide fanbase across the globe. The duo is set to play a sold out headline show towards the end of this month, so don’t miss them:
