Every once in a while, we come across a song that has choruses with no meaning yet yields a delightful effect on our tongues as we sing along. Baker Grace’s “See The Future” exemplifies such cases. “Rum diddee dum dum rum dum dum / The power I hold at the tip of my tongue / Rum diddee dum dum rum dum dum / I see my future before it’s begun” she chants. It’s a pensive, Xanaxed-out melody where she lets her thoughts and hopes roll alongside the bubbling beats while massaging our tongues with a playful diddee-dumming:

Grace started making music at 14 and released her debut record 2015 under her former moniker Bitter’s Kiss. Now 19, she’s been working with renowned publicists and creatives to make music that makes you feel less alone. :I want people to come away with the confidence to really trust themselves, and realize that everyone else in the world goes through the same things they do,” she shared. “Of course you’re alone in the decisions you have to make in life—but so is everyone, so in that way, there’s a strong sense of community. I’d love to help people feel that through my music.”
