BOII, the collab project of Brooklyn-based artist Joshua Hoisington and London-based artist Adam Welsh, defies distance and expectations in new single “Footwork” – a mid-tempo indietronica where they deliver the sweet and sour energy of risking everything for love. With quivering synths and delicate beat arrangements, “Footwork” delivers the persistent rush that keeps you going:

In regards to the single, Welsh shared: “‘Footwork’ has a lot of personal resonance because it’s partially about my wife. We were texting long distance when I was in New York writing the song. We finally went on our first date when I got back to London and now we’re married!”

“Footwork” is from the duo’s upcoming debut EP, which will be out in spring 2020. You can catch them live this month across Europe:

12/5 – The Waiting Room @ London, UK (w/ Dutchkid and Jack Walton)

12/9 – Härterei Club @ Zürich, Switzerland (w/ SOFI TUKKER)
