UK artist Sam Fender knows how to speak to our misery – his latest video “Saturday” is an homage to the temporary freedom we live for called ‘weekend.’ The song dissects the helpless dependency that we have on those two glorious days that don’t count as ‘business days’ and help us take a break from the mundane 9-6 existence. Also, it’s just a giant sonic midfinger to the workweek system that is highly satisfying:

In his own words, “Saturday” is “An anthem for the everyman about living for the weekend and sticking two fingers up to zero hours contracts.”
