Super Whatevr is back with another single titled “melancholyism.” where the duo share the emotional highs that the presence of someone can have on you – even if you’re a loner. Through introspective lyrics, “melancholyism.” has an air of cheery moodiness to it that channels a form of isolative intimacy. Hit that triangle:

“As an introverted musician I’ve struggled with finding time to recharge my emotional tank,” explained vocalist Skyler McKee on the new song. “This has been a major theme across the EP and first record, and ‘melancholyism.’ finishes what I started with ‘Good Luck’ and Kathrin With a K in hopes of finding someone who I can truly feel ‘alone’ with. This song is a loner’s love song to my wife Jess who I feel that I can be with and not compromise my quiet times.”

“melancholyism.” is from their upcoming album don’t you wanna be glad?, which will be out on February 7th via Hopeless Records. They will also kick off their North American tour:
