If you ever wondered how theocracy starts, then watch Elephant Stone’s “We Cry For Harmonia” – it’s an animated (even better) video that gives you a crash course (oh yes!) on how something becomes a spiritual figure. The video, directed by Mike Turzanski, is like watching a cartoon documentary without the annoying narrative voice and longass time investment. “We Cry For Harmonia” is a laidback piece intertwined with psychedelic strings that brushes over your brain, leaving you in a state of reflective imagination:

On the video, Turzanski shared: “For the ‘We Cry For Harmonia’ video, I wanted to make a series of animations that would take you through the music. The song itself is like riding a smooth wave through time. I wanted to make sure the visual elements had a similar feel to bring you through to the other side. This was a really fun project to work on. A few of my favourite cell animated clips came out of this. I’m really excited to see it released. Thank you Rishi and Elephant Stone for letting me be a part of this.”

The single is from the band’s upcoming album Hollow, which will be out on February 14th via Fuzz Club. The band will kick off tour soon:
