Johanna Warren’s “Bed Of Nails” Is A Trip To The Matrix Of Illusion

Johanna Warren takes us on a surreal odyssey of reflection and illusions in new video “Bed of Nails” where she addresses the difficulties of staying optimistic in a world of chaos. With laidback melody and soothing croons, Johanna channels the both melancholia and hope that we juggle with daily:

“The chorus, ‘each day it’s a little harder to believe,’ has a sort of double meaning,” shared Warren. “Like, it can be hard to see the good in people and stay optimistic in a world that seems to be falling apart… but simultaneously we’re waking up and starting to question the lies, feeling the matrix of illusion loosening its grip, the old story losing its power.”

“Bed of Nails” is from her upcoming record Chaotic Good, which will be out on May 1st via Wax Nine Records. She’ll be on tour this spring and will be announcing North American tour soon:
