Over a moodily laidback soundscape, Jouska touches upon our addictive tendency towards lost love in new single “Bring You Back.” It has a DIY feel to it with chopped flow made of white noise and shimmering flecks that evoke the heart-aching pleasure of longing for a past lover. Stream below:

In their own words, the song is about “missing someone and obsessing over fading memories. It’s a track for dancing when it feels like the world is about to end.”

Originally from Oslo, Jouska is comprised of Marit Othilie Thorvik and Hans Olav Settem who make bedroom R&B. Their latest single was produced by Sunniva Lindgaard (Sassy 009) and Andrew Murray, and offers a glimpse of what the duo has brewing for us this year.
