Aussie artist RINSE, aka Joe Agius, has shared his debut single “Tell Me Tell Me Tell Me,” a post-punk piece that every person who is about to have a breakdown can find comfort. Along with the single, RINSE has also shared the video for it, shot by Nick Maguire and featuring Hatchie’s Harriette Pilbeam on keys and Ritchie Daniell on drums, Babaganouj’s Charles Sale and The Creases’s Aimon Clark on guitar, and Morning Harvey’s Steve Kempnich on bass:
“I wanted the video for Tell Me to be simple and performance based, as there was a lot of energy in the recording I felt was best expressed that way visually. Black Bear Lodge where the clip is set is a usual weekend spot in Brisbane, a venue where I played a lot of my first shows, and it holds a lot of sentimental value to me. Most of my band of pals in the video also helped perform on the song in the studio too,” explained RINSE.
RINSE started making songs back in 2012 in his parents’ garage and has also produced and played live with Hatchie. RINSE will be sharing more songs this year, so stay tuned.
