CIEL’s “Days” Is Motivation To Leave Our Hermit Caves

Brighton-based trio CIEL encourages us to leave our hermit confinements and start becoming more open to human interaction in their new hazy indie pop single “Days.” Layered with gauzy textures that yield a shoegaze charm, “Days” is both a reminder and remedy for all of us who’ve been feeling emotionally (and physically) far from others:

On their new single, frontwoman Hindriks shared: “‘Days’ is a track about feeling distant from other people, and describes a turning point in which I became more open as a person.”

The track is from the band’s upcoming debut EP Movement, which will be out this spring. They also have shows coming up:
