UK artist Childe taps into our insatiable desire for attention in new single “Bad Ideas,” a convoluted pop piece that feels like it’s been smashed by psychedelic waves and sprinkled with a very mild dose of acid. It’s the perfect song to listen to while you shower and think about your existential crisis, breakups, lactose intolerance, etc. Enjoy:
“‘Bad Ideas’ is about being an attention seeker. Attention through affection. But then not wanting it once you’ve got it,” shared Childe.
Childe grew up in a rural town in the UK and started writing music as a teenager. He went on to study in the BRIT school in London, where he honed his skills and met likeminded musicians. He’s currently working on new music.
