UK artist prstn. takes us back to the iconic film Titanic in his lyric video for “Homesick,” a track that taps into a relationship that is doomed no matter what. From clips of 90s Leo and Kate, “Homesick” immerses us into a romance that is nestled in a sinking ship as he chants about the longing and heartbreak that comes with letting it go. Enjoy:
In his own words, “Most of us have found ourselves in a complicated relationship, right? With this one I fell into a trap where the complications and toxic encounters we faced created lows so low, that normality and the highlights we shared felt like of some sort rush. It’s hard to get out of that cycle. I don’t know why it just is. When we called it a day I think both us struggled with a sense of feeling homesick. That’s how ‘Homesick’ came about.”
At only 23, prstn. has already amassed more than 30 million streams and a gold-selling hit. “Homesick” was produced by this longtime friend and collaborator Eddie Serafica (Hamzaa, Lily Allen, James Bay), whom he have been working with since 2017.
