Once upon a time, rap quintet Cook Thugless broke into the scene witht eir highly successful single “Lockjaw.” The song garnered attention of a label that advised the boys to move from NY and NJ to LA where they would be making an album in a hillside mansion for eight months while the contract was getting finalized. Long story short, it turned out to be a scam and Cook Thugless decided to make an album titled yikes as a response to all this bizarre experience in the pits of LA inferno, aka music industry.
