Dennis Lloyd takes us into the Negev desert in Mitzpe Ramon, Israel in his latest video “Alien” where we get to see him striking his guitar on top of a cliff. The stunning topography and the glorious isolation that it offers is what makes “Alien” such a visual feast. But the best part is Dennis’ vocals chanting about feeling like an outsider, similar to being stranded in a desert where you get a panoramic view of its landscape with a childlike curiosity. Watch below:
On the single, Dennis shared: “This was the first song I wrote after returning home from tour. At some point on the road you can lose track of where you are, waking up in a new city or country each day, to new people, cultures and foods. In a way I felt like an Alien on a spaceship, exploring the world.”
A native of Tel Aviv, Dennis Lloyed released his debut EP Exident last spring and has done a sold-out worldwide tour, with sets at renowned festivals such as Coachella, Firefly, etc. “Alien” is out now via Arista Records.
