Goldroom and Moontower take us through that weird, existential rollercoaster ride that we experience in parties in “Guess I’m Jaded.” Lyrically, the song explores reaching a certain moment of your life when claustrophobia starts creeping in alongside a weird craving for me-time. Written before quarantine, “Guess I’m Jaded” is a melodic antithesis as the upbeat tempo makes you wanna party even more. This will be the first track that you’ll be blasting when this is all over and people are throwing end-of-pandemic parties:

“The songwriting session that resulted in ‘Guess I’m Jaded’ was my last before quarantine,” Goldroom says of the song. “Ironically we decided to write a song about being jaded with going out to parties, which has slowly given the song about six new layers of meaning over the intervening months. I can remember the looseness and fun of that session though. It feels both like yesterday and like 2 years ago, the five of us in a cramped room, singing about packed parties and wishing to get some time to spend alone with loved ones. Careful what you wish for…”
