Makeout have released their first single “Home” with new vocalist Kyle Dee and bassist AJ Khan. Dee and Khan are the newest members of Makeout, who are comprised of Tyler Young (lead guitar) and Scott Eckel (drums). “Home” is a bouncy, edgy piece that taps into the emotional and mental exhaustion of investing into a dead-end relationship. On the new single, Dee shared: “‘Home’ is about being completely drained from giving your all to a dead-end relationship. It’s about wanting to build a life with somebody and being fed false promises of a picture-perfect future.”
The track was produced by Matt Holmes and Travis Barker and is from the band’s upcoming EP, which they’ll be sharing more news soon. Stay tuned.
