Zella Day takes us on an ethereal trip filled with all the ups and downs of romance in her video “Only A Dream.” Directed by Samuel Richard and Gianennio Salucci, “Only A Dream” plays with the starry-eyed imageries of the Californian coasts while also exposing the unglamorous sides of intimacy. Watch below:
“There are times we must bury our broken hearts in the garden so that spring can do the work we cannot do ourselves,” said Zella about the song. “Living in the memory of what was eventually becomes a memory in itself. The years grow like flowers and the faint scent of love hangs low so that we may remember all of those we wish not to forget.”
The track is from Zella’s upcoming EP Where Does The Devil Hide, which will be out on August 28th.
