UK artist Saint Raymond, aka Callum Burrows, takes us on a summery soundscape filled with electropical beats and shimmering strings in “Love This Way.” Lyrically, the song illustrates a romance where two people decide to stay together for all the wrong reasons. But the sunny vibe and starry-eyed rhymes exude a hypnotic aura that makes if feel like a love song – just like a toxic relationship:
“The song is about when a relationship doesn’t quite work how it should,” said Saint Raymond. “But you’re both too scared to let go and you wonder if it’s just how it is and always will be. And whether it’s better to stay in it together in a messed up way.”
Saint Raymond is currently working on his upcoming sophomore album.
