Norwegian quartet Das Body has announced their much anticipated debut record Peregrine, out on November 20th. Along with the news, the band has shared their new hip shaking single “Scared,” a pop smasher that sends you swirling through your own vulnerability but in the waltziest way possible. Hit play:
“‘Scared’ was written a couple of years ago and we´ve played it live every time since – it’s one of our favourites,” noted the band. “But we struggled to translate the energy that Ellie radiates during the live performances into the studio version. We feel like we finally managed it, to project the eccentric Ellie Linden, almost as if she is pushed through even the tiny speakers on your laptop or phone.”
Peregrine, which was produced by Jorge Elbrecht (Sky Ferreira, Ariel Pink), will dive into themes of alienation, relationships, and all the glorious emotional mess that comes with interacting with humanity.
