Midnight Drags, aka the solo project of Lucas James, feeds us with plenty of romance, heartbreak, and emotional mess in new single “Ronnie.” It’s a delightful palette filled with pop and rock colors that bursts with surreal flair. The track comes with a stunning collaborative video with Indonesian artist Galihpanji, which you can watch below:
Speaking of his new track, James shared: “‘Ronnie’ is a love song about yearning, regret and ultimately meeting one’s fate. It was (loosely) written about someone I know who went to jail. It’s written from the perspective of their confused and tormented loved one waiting on the outside.”
The track is from Midnight Drags’ upcoming debut album Bad Business, which will be released early 2021.
