Speaking of the track, Captain Kidd’s Kyle Kanzigg shared: “We all have probably experienced phases in our lives where we let unhealthy thought patterns and lifestyle choices take over our lives and cause some serious damage. ‘Over It’ a celebration of letting go of those unhealthy lifestyle patterns, instead choosing to hold yourself accountable and create a better quality of life for yourself.”
Captain Kidd have gone from performing at dive clubs in the Midwest to supporting the likes of Glass Animals, Capital Cities, Wiz Khalifa, and Griz at major music festivals. “Over It” is from their upcoming EP, which they’ll be sharing more details soon. Make sure to stalk them on Instagram.
