Oakland quintet Electric Sister send us a cascade of hefty riffs that send hair-raising rush in new single “Miss American Vampire.” The track has the vintage elements of traditional rock genre amplified with metal elements that yield a euphonious intensity. Opening up with an eerie buzz, “Miss American Vampire” immediately soaks you with suspense that makes you feel like you’re about to watch a horror film. This sizzling buzz is quickly broken by bursting drums, slashing guitar strings, and edgy bassline, letting all hell loose. The vocals of frontman Thadeus Gonzalez soars over the production as he swings between howling high-pitch to deep-cutting cathartic moments, delivering an infectious energy throughout the song. “Miss American Vampire” is pristine rock’n’roll that does not try to be something else – it smashes on your eardrums where its lacerating riffs travel to your reward center with a breakneck intensity. Cheers to blasting this full volume:

Comprised of Thadeus Gonzales (vocals), MyKill Ziggy (guitar), Eddie Colmenares (drums), Jason Kay (guitar), and Nicholas Hernandez (bass), Electric Sister first broke into the scene back in 2011 with their debut full length record THE LOS ART OF ROCK & ROLL. They’ve played in numerous venues across the West Coast and have opened for other bands including Danko Jones, Zeke and Lords of Altamont. After a brief break, the quintet has returned to the scene with more smashing bangers to help us unleash any pent-up emotions and just get our adrenalines going. Stay tuned for more drops from the band in the near future.
