When you can’t leave your treasures and junk behind

Claud muses on the concept of moving away to a new place, but still taking all of our old stuffs with us in new single “Soft Spot.” It’s a dreamy midtempo piece built on billowing synths and echoing choruses where Claud induces us into a mind-wandering state. The single comes with a video directed by Brad Bischoff where we see Claud inside a moving truck:

Speaking of the song and video, Claud shared: “Something I’ve come to realize in the last couple years is that moving away is VERY different than moving on (seems obvious but is really not…). This video is about the stuff that you can’t seem to leave behind and that comes with you wherever you go, whether they’re good things or not so good things.”

“Soft Spot” is from Claud upcoming debut album Super Monster, which will be out on February 12th via Saddest Factory.
