Electropical pop

Video still from The Fire – jefff

If the fire burns right / We can burn it all night / Stare into the moonlight” chants jefff in his latest single “The Fire.” In his latest piece, jefff uses an arsenal of reggae, electropical pop, and funk to craft a feel-good tune that captures the summertime bliss we’ve been missing this past few months (or year actually). Lyrically, jefff invites us to enjoy the moment with mindfulness through the playful riffs and beachy sass that makes us wanna dance or chill on a hammock. The rhythm bounces with a cool coastal vibe that breezes through your ears as jefff’s soothing vocals channels a form of sun-kissed comfort. “The Fire” is a celebration of love and the visuals encapsulates just that as we see jefff – who is an avid wave surfer btw – living the dream life surrounded by warm company in front of a bonfire. The video lets us vicariously enjoy summer that seems like a distant memory right now:

Jeff Clark is the mastermind behind jefff who is currently based in Key West, Florida. Originally from Lebanon, jefff has been writing songs since the age of thirteen and has studied jazz, music theory, and many more. Yes, he’s a nerd, artist, father, wave surfer, and whatever you can imagine. He was also the frontman of Massachusetts band Entrain for thre years and has played alongside Jimmy Buffet, Zach Brown, and G-Love. As a solo artist, jefff has four albums under his belt.  “The Fire” is the follow up of his latest single “R U Hip 2 the Revolution?” and a taste of his upcoming record My Last CD, which will be out via Conch Town Music.
