Brooklyn-based, Aussie artist LANKS send us hair-raising chills through his latest single “Cold Blood.” Written with Dutch songwriter Jantine Heij and Aussie producer Tentendo, the song is a hauntingly gorgeous piece where LANKS’ burning croons paired with ethereal synths yield a lush mesmeric sound that hooks you immediately. The chest-swelling atmosphere radiate a smoky intensity that makes “Cold Blood” a treat to your auditory sense:

On his latest release, LANKS stated: “Originally written at a writing camp by Australian publishing houseNative Tongue in 2019, with two people that became good friends and I stayed with in LA later that year for a writing trip, Jantine Heij and Tentendo. Jantine is a phenomenal top-line writer (collaborating with artists such as Skrillex), and Tentendo, an intuitive producer. This session flowed so naturally, as if we’d all known each other for years. I then took it to Andrei Eremin and we worked on it together with Ross Beaton (from Dorsal Fins), Justin Olsson (my drummer), and Anita Hilman (an amazing cellist from Melbourne).”

Will Cuming is the mastermind behind LANKS, who has previously supported artists such as Rufus Du Sol, Vera Blue, Glass Animals, Broods, RY X, and more. He has over 50 million Spotify streams and his works have been used in various TV shows. When he isn’t working on the LANKS project, Will is collaborating with other artist like Vera Blue, Mallrat, Dustin Tebbutt, Ngaiire, Woodes, Tia Gostelow, Tyne James-Organ, Cxloe, and more.
