Nigerian born, Melbourne-based artist PRICIE spreads a message of self-love to all women out there in her new single “too dang good.” With her soulfully rich vocals and breakneck beats, PRICIE crafts a chic soundscape that encourages both movement and boldness as she celebrates sexual freedom. The track comes with a video directed by Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore where we get to see PRICIE and her group of female choreographers killing it:
In PRICIE’s own words, “‘too dang good’ was a last-minute studio magic moment – we honestly didn’t expect to make anything, but myself and Lucian literally just vibed each other and decided to jam. As he made a beat I began to freestyle on it and ‘too dang good’ was born.”
Through the lyrics, PRICIE wanted to deliver an empowering message of sexual liberation. “the message is for women to know their worth and understand that although some things may transpire within their relationship, they’re just way too dang good for it,” she added.
PRICIE grew up listening to various genres – from gospel to Nigerian funk, she draws influences from all around the world. She first broke into the Sydney scene when she was featured on POLOSHIRT’s “Too Good To be True” back in 2018 and has gone on to perform across multiple festivals and tours. The gal is currently. Planning to roll out more music.
